Miranda Savage is a Canadian painter born and raised on the west coast of British Columbia. Deeply inspired by nature and her love for animals, these influences are woven throughout her work. Another important source of inspiration is her late grandfather, a landscape painter who encouraged creativity from a young age by inviting her to paint freely on blank canvases in his studio. This sense of play, curiosity, and freedom sparked her lifelong love of art, and continuing his legacy through paint remains a meaningful honour to her.

Miranda studied fine arts at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where she explored painting, art history, sculpture, film photography, and ceramics, graduating with a Diploma of Fine Arts in 2019. After several years teaching visual arts, she shifted her focus to her own creative practice.

Now an artist and mother to her daughter Ava, Miranda creates one-of-a-kind commissioned works including pet portraits, landscapes, and murals. Motherhood has deepened her appreciation for connection, patience, and presence—qualities that gently flow through her work. Her paintings celebrate nature, family, and the joy of creative expression.
